Vertical Filter Press

The vertical filter press is stacked up horizontally and up and down to form a set of filter chambers, which occupies a small area. It uses a continuous filter belt to complete filtration, remove the slag and filter the belt with mobile filter, and operate automatically. The filter press has a wide range of application and simple structure. The press and pull of the plate and the frame, the slag discharge and the cleaning filter cloth can be operated automatically, which is favorable for the development of the pressure filter. After adding elastic rubber diaphragm in filter chamber of filter press, the filter slag can be compressed with high pressure water or compressed air with rubber diaphragm at the end of filter, so that the filter residue is further pressed and deliquid, and the filter chamber volume is variable and filter residue is compressed by diaphragm pressure, the pressure can reach 1~2 MPa.

1, the plate and frame filter press (plate and frame filter press) consists of a set of filter chambers which are alternately arranged with filter plates and filter frames. The surface of the filter plate has grooves, and the convex part thereof is used for supporting filter cloth. There is a through hole on the side of the filter frame and filter plate. After assembly, it forms a complete passageway, which can pass into suspension, washing water and filtrate. Each side of the board and the frame is supported by a handle on the cross beam, and the pressing device is pressed on the plate and frame. The filter cloth between the plate and the frame plays the role of sealing gaskets. From the feed pump, the suspension hydraulic filter enters the filter chamber to form a filter residue until the filter chamber is filled. The filtrate passes through the filter cloth and flows along the filter plate trench to the edge and corner channels of the frame and plate, and then is discharged centrally. After filtration, the filter slag can be washed through clean water. After washing, sometimes the compressed air is added to remove the remaining washing liquid. Then the filter press is opened and the filter residue is removed, the filter cloth is cleaned, the plate and frame are pressed again, and the next working cycle is started.
2. The plate and frame filter press can be applied to the suspension with high compressibility and near incompressible suspension. The solid suspension concentration of the suitable suspension is generally less than 10%, the operating pressure is generally 0.3 to 0.6 MPa, and the special can reach 3 MPa or higher. The filter area can be increased or reduced with the number of frames used. The frame is usually square, the inner side of the filter frame is 200~2000 millimeters, the frame thickness is 16~80 millimeters, and the filtration area is 0.5 to 1200 square meters. Plate and frame are pressed by manual screw, electric screw and hydraulic pressure. Boards and frames are made of wood, cast iron, cast steel, Stainless steel, polypropylene and rubber.

The structure and working principle of the fan filter press are similar to the plate and frame filter press. The difference is that the filter plate is concave on both sides and each two filter plates are combined into a box shaped filter chamber, which saves the filter frame, and the center of the filter plate has a round hole suspension which flows into the filter chamber.
